Welcome to the study programme Law (Master’s degree), language of training is Ukrainian.

Nowadays there is a pressing need for professionals who can ensure efficient operation in the context of new social relations and new forms of functioning of the state. Lawyers are the very professionals who promote the development of interstate partnership and rebirth of the intellectual, cultural and spiritual legacy of a nation.

The mission of the study programme Law (Master’s degree) is to train highly qualified lawyer, who has professional knowledge and skills in the area of civil and legal activities for advisory and academic work at enterprises and associations of different legal forms, public authorities, local governments, public and private institutions and organizations.

We incorporate European approaches and quality standards of higher education. It is the first and the only Bachelor’s programme in Law in Ukraine which is accredited at the international level by ZEvA agency, Hannover (Germany). ZEvA’s experts have recognized its compliance with European standards and the Bologna requirements.

Results of mastery of the study programme: acquisition of knowledge and skills in professionally oriented courses required for competence of lawyers.

Professional knowledge and skills obtained as a result of completing the programme:

  • familiarization with the current national and European mechanisms of protection of human rights;
  • familiarization with innovations in the development of legal techniques; familiarization with the ways of closing legal loopholes;
  • skills in implementing various techniques of management;
  • skills in finding efficient ways of resolving juridical conflicts.

Programme requirements (ECTS credits).

In accordance with the Standard on higher education of Master in Law, 90 ECTS credits are awarded in total. The curriculum of the programme “Master in Law” incorporates: mandatory courses (52.5 ECTS credits), elective courses (24.5 ECTS credits). Course paper - 1 ECTS credit. Internship – 10.5 ECTS credits, Comprehensive State Exam – 1.5 ECTS credits

Educational goals of the programme.

General goal of the study programme “Master in Law” is gaining the ability to solve complex tasks and problems in the field of lawmaking and law enforcement.

The programme’s objectives are designed to:

  • train specialists with professional knowledge and experience to solve professional tasks in the relevant field;
  • educate highly qualified specialists who are able to reproduce practical experience through self-selection and application of typical and atypical methods of operation in standard conditions;
  • ensure the training of specialists who are able to apply the latest scientific developments in the legal service of enterprise, institution and organization;
  • develop skills, which will give students an opportunity to act in scientific research and educational institutions;
  • ensure the training of specialists who are able to take proactive, professional and civic mind.
